Working with an investor and a wider design team including heritage consultants, we have been looking at a long term strategy for the refurbishment of a beautiful heritage hotel space, to form a sanctuary where time is eroded.
Once a Benedictine nunnery, we have been exploring re-connecting spaces with subtle interventions in line with the Grade II listed status, while paring back to offset the intense Victorian Gothic architecture with a serene, monastic silence to foster travelling inward and calm reflection.
